AI Can’t Replace Actors on a Stage
It is truly alarming that each day news comes out that AI will replace people in every sector of the job market, including the Acting Container. A part of me doesn’t want to still be alive when that happens (although it certainly IS happening now).
Put there is one sector that AI cannot replace. Live performance on a stage (or in a park or in a town square or in rooms or around a campfire) by actors.
Live performance brings people together. We feel better in community. We feel better telling and hearing stories. Perhaps it best for us all to go back to the basics.
